Tim's Testimony - Page 3
Dr. Hill had even slept in my bed as I gave it up to sleep on the floor. As Dr. and Mrs. Hill were departing to drive home
Sunday afternoon, he asked me to step forward in the entry way to our house. As I stood there, he laid his hands on my
shoulders and he prayed over me. He asked God to bless me for the calling upon my life. He reaffirmed the mantle that God
placed upon me at an even younger age.
Now, I am just an ordinary person, I am a sinner but with a calling from God at a young age. To explain, I am like a glass
pitcher. When I’m willing to be used, God does miracles through me. The water pouring out is the power of the Holy Spirit
and the hand holding the pitcher is Jesus. I have called things to happen that just can’t happen, people healed and storms
halting, to name just a few. It is God, not me, I am just a vessel; God is the maker and Creator of all things. It is
through Him that all the Earth holds together. God created all alone (Isaiah 44:24)"Thus
says the Lord, your Redeemer, and the one who formed you from the womb, ‘I, the Lord, am the maker of all things,
stretching out the heavens by Myself, and spreading out the earth all alone.’" All
things were created by/through Jesus (Colossians 1:16-17) "For by Him all things were
created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or
authorities—all things have been created by Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold
together."
My testimony isn't about my conversion, like Paul the Apostle, as an adult. My testimony's
about my relationship with God like King David; I was called before birth for a mantle to be placed upon me at a very young
age. This is most humbling to me. Very seldom does a day go by that I don’t ask God to keep me humble; for I know pride
comes before the fall, being buffed up would be my biggest mistake.
